No. All applicants must have graduated from an ARC-PA accredited program or international equivalent and be nationally certified as a physician assistant.
Our curriculum is taught using patient scenarios that mimic rounds in a hospital. Students are divided into groups and one member of the group will be appointed as the clinician in charge (CIC), The CIC changes every week so all students will have an opportunity to be the CIC. And each week the physician gives each group a patient case to discuss and to come up with a diagnosis. We have a virtual class (similar to an echo project) every Sunday evening where the CIC presents their group’s patient to the class and the medical expert. What better way to learn medicine than by treating patients.
All our clinical medicine courses are taught by medical experts in their field. Our faculty have an average of 27 years of clinical experience with a combination of 33 board certifications.
Our faculty of renowned clinicians are recognized nationally and internationally for their work as professors, clinicians, and leaders.
